Road Trip

I’m about to head out the door for a trip to sunny Vicenza, Italy–home of the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team–to teach a brief class.  I’ve got a few unfinished posts in the hopper that I’d like to finish along the way, so perhaps you might see a post or two, but don’t expect much.  The Facebook pageTumblr account and Twitter feed, of course, will be active.   As usual, Ms. Messerschmidt has the controls.  (I’m also willing to open the site up to more guest posters.)

In the meantime, be on the lookout for my chapter in an upcoming book from the Center for Emerging National Security Affairs (CENSA) entitled “Hybrid Warfare and Transnational Threats 2011“.  Expect some great writing from legendary defense strategists, such as Martin van Creveld, Stephen Biddle, Congressman Adam Smith (D-WA), and Adam Elkus.

In light of my impending absence, a few of my Twitter fans have asked that I compose another dance video; and, as always, I deliver.  Though I can’t definitively say that this is yours truly, I think we’ll all agree that it’s keeping with my modus operandi.
